Success for Annandale Stud

Recently the Annandale stud has achieved an unique feat as Welsh and Welsh Part-Bred ponies bearing the Annandale prefix have qualified in no less than seven different show hunter and working hunter pony classes at the Royal International Horse Show in July.

In the lead rein show hunter pony we have:

Annandale Let’s Dance (Annandale Cort Jester x Kiltinane Juliana);

Annandale Line of Fire (Moelview Celebration x Millcroft Spark)

Annandale Rebel Rebel (Hilin Etifedd x Millcroft Spark)

Annandale Fire Ball (Hilin Etifedd x Annandale Cinders)

Qualified for the 123cm final are…

Annandale Tweety (Annandale Cort Jester x Kiltinane Juliana)

Annandale Line of Duty (Hilin Etifedd x Millcroft Spark)

Headed for the 133cm final are…

Annandale Figaro (Kingsmead Figaro x Annandale Evita)

Annandale Matilda (Soudley Taliesin x Moelgarnedd Mair)

Hickstead-bound 143cm show hunter ponies are…

Annandale Super Trouper (Brynithon Just Red x Glenrowan Maysong)

And largest is 153cm contender…

Annandale Love Song (Brynithon Just Red x Lady Harriet Luis)

Not to be out done Annandale Royal Jubilation (Soudley Taliesin x Akadame Popcorn) will fly the stud flag in the  Pretty Polly home-produced show hunter pony final and Annandale Cufflink (Soudley Taliesin x Stockham Honey) is competing in the working hunter pony final.

This is an incredible achievement for one stud, and shows the versatility of Welsh bloodlines.

Congratulations to all at Annandale, and the owners, riders and producers who have secured the golden tickets for each.
