About the Society
The Welsh Pony and Cob Society was founded in 1901, at a General Meeting convened by Welsh pony and cob breeders in Llandrindod Wells, Mid-Wales. For the last 120 years, the Society has been serving the members and breeders of Welsh breeds across the globe.
We are the original Society for the native Welsh breeds of equines, with daughter organisations now based in some 16 countries world wide.
