Sioe Feirch Llambed - Lampeter Stallion Show 2025

As ever, the Lampeter Stallion Show brought quality entries across all sections. But as with every show, each section can only have one champion and this spring, they were: 

Welsh section A, Friars Cara Fi  (Thistledown Stroma x Friars Cara Wen), who was also supreme champion filly. She is owned by breeder Sian Morris and was shown by Simon Charlesworth.

Welsh section B stallion class winner Hilin Replica (Ysselvliedt Lord Markham x Hilin Can Yr Afon) took the trophy home for the Evans family at the Hilin stud, shown by Elin “Cwrt”.

Welsh section C Danaway Bugsy, (Tregole Soprano X Danaway Vienna) owned and shown by Joe Lee. Bugsy was also reserve supreme of the show. 

Welsh section D Pennal Royal Command (Pennal The Great x Pennal Gwenllan Mair), bred by Dai Harries, owned by Simon and Claire James and shown by Gareth Lapping trounced all competition to stand overall supreme of show.

Supreme ridden was awarded to the small but mighty section A winner! This was Glebedale Jumanji (Powys Sprite x Pendock Jingle), owned and bred by Kitty Bodily and shown by India Latter-Sears.
