Diolch yn Fawr.LOT 6An original horseshoe worn by the renowned Welsh Cob mare – Parc Lady WM9977Parc Lady was an indomitable force in the show ring being Royal Welsh Champion and winning the Price of Wales Cup on four successive occasions between 1958 and 1961.Parc Lady was described by the late Dr E. Wynne Davies in his book ‘Welsh Ponies and Cobs’ as “One of the most beautiful Welsh Cobs ever”.The shoe sits in a box frame mounted on a dark green velvet background with a nameplate.The provenance is detailed on the back of the frame along with a picture of the mare and a signed declaration of authenticity by D.D Morgan, Parc.Dimensions 37cms wide 37cms height depth 7cmsKindly donated by Society Chairman Daniel Morgan from the Parc Stud.If you would like to bid but are not attending the President’s Awards night and dinner, please contact meirion.davies@wpcs.uk.com to arrange to leave a bid.
