Judges Panel Review

The Society announces a ‘Review of method of Appointing Judges to the Society's Panel of Judges’.

Following completion of the outstanding Judges Assessments that had been delayed

by Covid, the Society's Council has resolved to carry out a complete review of both the current system of appointing Judges to the Panel, and to investigate alternative methods of appointing Judges. In addition, a review of the criteria for awarding asterisks to upgrade judges to qualify them to judge Silver Status Shows and act as assessors will also take place.

The Society invites individual members who wish to contribute to the review submit their thoughts and suggestions regarding these matters for the attention of the Judging and Showing Committee by the 15th of March 2023.

These will then be considered by that Committee at a meeting scheduled for the 21st of March, collated and then presented to the new J & S Committee formed after the Society’s’ AGM in April.
