Hill Pony Stallion Premiums

The WPCS, Hill Pony Societies of Wales and Glanusk Welsh stallion show are pleased to announce that this year’s Stallion Premium scheme classes will be judged by Mr Dylan Rees Penant Stud, Pembrokeshire and Mr Stuart Morgan, Blaencila stud, Gower. The classes will be held at the Glanusk Stallion show on the Royal Welsh Showground at Llanelwedd, on Saturday the 6th of May 2023 at 9.00am

The Premium scheme is run by the Society along with the Hill Pony derogation scheme for foals and four-year mares held in December .

Premiums and Super premiums and the WPCS Silver medal will be awarded at Glanusk as part of the scheme. Breeders and owners from Hill Pony Societies are invited to enter their stallions. The closing date for entry is Friday the 31st of March 2023. This will be strictly adhered to.

Entry forms for the Stallion Premium classes will be sent to all Hill Pony Societies and are available to download from the WPCS website.
