Glanusk Stallion Show

Competitors at the 2025 Glanusk Stallion Show were treated to glorious sunshine in which to show off their exhibits.

Coming to the fore were:

Sian Morris’ Welsh section A champion Friars Cara Fi (Thistledown Stroma x Friars Cara Wen), shown by Simon Charlesworth who took home the section title. Congratulations to them for doing the Lampeter and Glanusk double!

Janet and Steph Mansfield’s 3-year-old colt Janpete Moonwalker (Janpete Class Act x Cadlanvalley Jodette) took the Welsh section B championship, the supreme youngstock and overall supreme of show titles.

Tom Davies and Hannah Broome’s Llanmorlais Reagan (Kylebeck Crespo x Synod Sweet Chantel) topped the Welsh section Cs and stood overall reserve supreme of show.

Adam Smart’s Gwendraeth Gambler (Geler Sparc x Gwendraeth Llinos) was pick of the day for the Welsh section D title.

The part-bred championship ribbons journeyed home with Lorraine Partridge’s filly Rosedale Bernadette (Hethel Decisive x Rosedale Marissa) who was bred by Lorraine and her late husband Les and shown by Gareth Lapping.

The ridden title was awarded to Ceri-Ann Bennett astride her own Welsh section D class winner, Caederwen Jaxson (Cascob Jac Flash x Caederwen Chantilly Lace), bred by Andrew Thomas

Congratulations to all winners and their connections!
