Dycott Welsh King & Daichristu Prince of Wales compete in the HOYS WHP Final

Today we wish the best of luck to father and son competing at HOYS.

Dycott Welsh King is no stranger to a working Hunter Competition. Many of you will recognise him for his huge success competing at HOYS, winning the exc 143cm class for the last 2 years. This year, having only contended two WHP HOYS qualifiers at NCPA Derbyshire Festival and The Royal Highland Show on their first ever visit to the show - Winning both and also standing champion at both venues.

Following hot on his heels is his son, Daichristu Prince of Wales, who is currently competing in the same exc 143cm WHP classes. Prince is in his first open season and has qualified for HOYS at the NPS Area 7 and also the final at Royal International.

Both cobs aren’t strangers to show success with both picking up numerous awards at last year’s WPCS Performance Awards.

Both Father and Son will be competing in the same class at HOYS. What fantastic ambassadors these two boys are for how versatile our Welsh Cobs can be. Good luck.
