About the Directory

The WPCS Studs Directory is a searchable database containing those breeders of Welsh ponies and cobs who have subscribed to be included. The number of studs is growing rapidly.

If you want to see your own stud here, refer to the Get Listed page.

The Welsh Pony and Cob Enthusiasts' Websites, also provides further access points for visitors to the stud websites.

There are 3 ways in which you can access the websites:

• via one of the Welsh Pony and Cob Enthusiasts' Websites - these provide and alphabetic listing of the studs together with contact details and a brief description of the Stud and of course a link to the Stud website. Please click on one of the links below as appropriate:

• via our shortened alphabetic listing of the studs - if you know the name of the Stud this is the quickest route to their website. Click on this link:

• by searching the database

Select the Stud Book section(s) and geographical region(s) you are interested in, then click the "Find Studs" button. (You must select at least one section and region!)

Keywords Search

This does a full-text search of the database. (It works like the site searcher.) You could use it to search for a certain prefix, a registration number, or a town, for example. You can enter any words or numbers. This search will only find the first instance of the keyword in any file - there may be other instances of the keyword in the same file.
