Site Map |
The maximum number of points any individual progeny of an animal could contribute would be limited to that animal’s five best results. In the event of a tie, the highest number of progeny recorded for the sire would decide the winner. In the event of a further tie, the number of 1st placings attained by the progeny would then be taken into consideration. The points would be allocated as follows: 1st = 6 points; 2nd = 4 points; 3rd = 2 points; 4th – 1 point. The In-Hand Sire-Ratings are compiled from the results of the following shows: Aberystwyth, Anglesey, Brecon, Cheshire, East Anglian, Glanusk, Great Yorkshire, Lampeter Stallion, Monmouth, Northleach, Notts County, Pembroke, Royal Bath & West, Royal Cornwall, Royal of England, Royal Highland, Royal Welsh, Scottish All Welsh, Shropshire & West Midlands, Three Counties, United Counties and Vale of Glamorgan. Results have also been taken from the following Area Association Shows: Carmarthen, Clwyd, Eastern, East Midlands, Gwent, Gwynedd, Irish (Northern), Lancashire, North Eastern, North Western, Scottish & Northern, Severn Valley, South Eastern, South Western. Results outstanding at the time of printing: Durham, South of England, Scottish Association. The highest 10 from each section for 2006 are shown below but the full listing is also available in pdf format.
