The Welsh Section C, Sackville Nicky (G15156 - Synod Roy Rogers/ Ceulan Nesta) is the cover star on this month’s “Your Horse” magazine. Nicky was a big winner in the show ring in the late 1990’s, in both flat and WHP classes, with wins and championships at all of the major shows, including HOYS. He was the WPCS Supreme points performance champion in 1998 (three times Section C winner) and also took several championships at the performance shows. 
Still with his original owner Nicola Goy (nee Hall), he is very fit and well, and continues to be an ambassador for the breed at the grand age of twenty one. He competes at veteran showing and dressage, as well as doing sponsored rides, (the photo shoot happened as a result of completing the Your Horse organised Burghley Horse Trials Sponsored ride). Now Nicola’s only pony, he is described as a “Pony of a lifetime” and will remain with her for the rest of his days.
