Saturday 9th September 2006 All roads led to Llandysul in Ceredigion for the Menai and Friarly Studs reduction. A fantastic crowd of over 1,000 people made their way to Pantydefaid, Llandysul on Saturday 9th September for the major reduction sale of the Menai and Friarly Studs on behalf of Mr & Mrs Peter Jones. Purchases from as far afield as Denmark. Holland, Germany and Canada, as well as others from Southern Ireland and many parts of the United Kingdom were there to purchase ponies from one of the oldest studs in the Welsh Pony and Cob Stud Book. On offer were some fantastic ponies in Section D's, C's, A's, Part Breds and Geldings and many lots realised well over £1,000, with the principal prices being: |
