Benefits of Membership

By becoming a Member of the Society you will be playing a vital role in the preservation of Welsh Ponies and Cobs, ensuring that their traditional characteristics of hardiness, strength, agility and beauty are maintained for future generations to enjoy.

In addition to providing essential financial support to the Society, as a member you will receive the Society annual Journal and Newsletters (subject to availability), be able to register pure-bred colts and fillies, compete for Society Medals at various shows, have access to the Society Pavilion at the Royal Welsh Show etc.

Types of Membership

Annual Membership

Annual Membership, which runs from 1 January to 31 December. From 1 January it costs £30.00 (UK pounds sterling).

Currency

Our subscriptions are shown in UK pounds sterling (£).
You may pay by Access, Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, and Switch. We recommend you use a credit card if you live outside the UK: your card or account will be debited the equivalent amount in your own currency.

Note that 1.00 pound sterling is about 1.60 US dollars or about 1.50 euros (as at February 2003). These rates vary continuously. For up-to-date information, whatever your currency, use OANDA, Inc.'s currency converter.

Direct Debit

For those with a British Bank account, it is possible to pay for your membership using a variable amount direct debit mandate. This is strongly recommended, since it means that your annual subscription is collected every January, without any further effort from yourself.
