Junior Welsh Pony and Cob Club
The Society has started a Junior Club for children 16 years and
under who are interested in Welsh Ponies and Cobs.
Annual subscription costs £9.00, for which you will receive
various free gifts and Newsletters.
Please note that the subscription for the Junior Club does not cover the ability to
register Pure Bred foals or allow members to claim awards that require the full membership
of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society.

Young Judges Competition
The Society runs a competition for young judges, with a section
for those aged 12 to 18. In 2004 the Young Judges Competition took place at the National Welsh and Welsh Part Bred Championship
Show, Shrewsbury on the evening of Saturday 31st July 2004 prior to
the Show on Sunday 1st August 2004. Entries were taken via Area
Associations.
Fourteen-year-old Jenna Dart from Gwynedd was the overall winner
retaining the Geler Perpetual Trophy kindly presented by the Lloyd
family. In runner-up position was the winner of the junior section,
Eastern Association member, Holly Jones-McCutcheon who is twelve years
old and comes from Wisbech in Cambridgeshire.

Young Ambassador Elect
If you are interested in becoming the Young Ambassador the form is now available
HERE
To be eligible, applicants must be between 18 and 25 years of age and either the
applicant or their parent(s) must be a member of the Welsh Pony & Cob
Society.
Please return the completed form to the office no later than the 31st December 2006.

The Young Ambassador organises a number of events for young members throughout the year. Details of these
