Hill Walk Hafdre Stud, Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys
Sunday 12th August 2007.

On behalf of Roger, Coral and the Newsletter Committee, I would like to thank everyone who supported this special day. The morning started with showery weather, and we thought this may dampen spirits and affect attendance figures, but to our surprise, we had many more breeders/supporters attending than were envisaged. The visitor's attendance book showed how far and wide across England and Wales people had traveled.

Soon after the scheduled starting time the sun quickly broke through the clouds to start a memorable day. I was privileged to meet so many kind and knowledgeable people on the day, the schedule was hectic and we traveled far to see over one hundred lovely Welsh Mountain Ponies of quality and type.

We wish to extend thanks to the President of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society, for her attendance despite a busy schedule.

Thanks again Roger and Coral for the opportunity and the hospitality.

A collection plus a small donation by the Newsletter Committee, raised £405 for the Noah's Ark Appeal, which is in aid of the Children's Hospital, Cardiff.
