 Delami Destiny - Photograph by Brillpix Photography On the 5th May at the Ponies Association (South) Show the eight year old stallion Delami Destiny qualified for the ridden Mountain and Moorland Final to be held at HOYS in October but the win was made all the more special because some six days earlier he had taken the Olympia ticket at the NPS Area 14 event prompting the question, “Has any pony previously qualified for these two major events in such a short space of time?” On both occasions he was ridden by Katie Marriot Payne for the Waller Family his owner/breeders. This is only his second season under saddle and follows on from a successful time as a sire including the many times winner, Delami Arabella. Destiny is by Taliaris Granite and out of the Pendock Legend daughter, Idyllic Fonteyne. With both his goals for the season now under his belt he may now have a quieter season than originally planned.
