Governance Review: Charity Commission Response

In September we wrote to the Charity Commission setting out our response to the findings of the governance review conducted over the summer. The purpose of the letter was to outline the direction the Council had agreed to achieve the overall aims of the recommendations in the review. Not only does the letter to the Charity Commission outline what Council aims to accomplish but also the factors considered when they made those choices.

We have recently received a very positive response from the Charity Commission who, while they do not comment on the details of the proposed program of change, have outlined their response to the overall process.
