Brightwells Auctioneers hold three Official WPCS Sales a year all, of which are held on the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells.
The first one of the year will be held on SATURDAY 9 MAY. This Sale is for registered Welsh Ponies & Cobs Sections A, B, C, D, & WPBR and is called the SPRING SALE OF WELSH PONIES & COBS.
The second Official Sale of the year is the FAYRE OAKS SALE OF WELSH PONIES. This will be the 56th year the Sale has been held and it is open to Sections A, B, & WPBR. This year’s Sale is scheduled for FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY 25, 26 & 27 SEPTEMBER.
The third and final Official Sale of the year is the biggest of the three. This is called the AUTUMN COB SALE, and as its name suggests it is open to Welsh Cobs Section D, Welsh Ponies of Cob Type Section C, and their Part Breds. This year the Sale will be held on FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY 16, 17, & 18 OCTOBER. Brightwells Graduates 2008  Rhencullen Chardonay  Akadame Scimitar Throughout the year we also hold unofficial Sales of Welsh Ponies and Cobs including: 1. EASTERS COURT SPRING SALE OF WELSH PONIES & COBS
This Sale will be held on SATURDAY 23 MAY as a New Lower Cost Alternative Sale to those above for Registered Welsh Ponies & Cobs (A, B, C, D, & WPBRs) and it will be held at the site of our headquarters at Easters Court, Leominster Hereford HR6 0DE. 2. HAY-ON-WYE BREEDERS SALE
This Sale will be held on SATURDAY & SUNDAY 3 & 4 OCTOBER also as an alternative to the Official Sales above for both registered and unregistered stock. The venue for this Sale is Hay-on-Wye Market, Castle Street, Hay-on-Wye, Powys HR3 5DF.
