The Publicity Officer, Dr Wynne Davies thanked the staff for compiling the Society’s web-site which, over the year, amounted to 130 pages and 278 photographs of Show, Sale, Open Day and Conference reports in addition to the official Society information.  There had also been regular reports in the daily and weekly press and monthly and annual journals both at home and overseas.  The Society’s journal of 776 pages had appeared two weeks ahead of schedule thanks to the editor Mr David Blair and Cambrian Printers staff; the advertising income had increased from £59,000 to £65,000. Sales of “Sixty Years of Royal Welsh Champions” (J A Allen/Robert Hale) had boosted the  Society’s funds and there are only a limited number remaining. Another publication “Welsh Ponies and Cobs, Ceredigion Champions” (Gwasg Gomer) is due to be launched in May.
