Llandudno is the destination for the 2009 AGM and President’s Dinner & Dance. One of North Wales’ premier seaside resorts it offers a wide variety of accommodation and amenities. It has been a number of years since the Society has visited North Wales for its’ AGM and we are looking forward to a weekend that combines the essential business of the Society with the opportunity to celebrate the Welsh Pony and Cob Society together.

The Annual General Meeting will be held at Venue Cymru on the afternoon of the 7th March 2009. Set beneath the glorious foothills of Snowdonia and occupying spectacular views out to sea, Venue Cymru is one of the finest locations for professionally managed conferences.

Located in Llandudno, in the centre of the North Wales coast, Venue Cymru is well served by all transportation methods. The A55 dual carriageway connects the town to both the M56 and M53; in travel terms both Manchester and Liverpool are just one hour's drive away, as are their respective airports.

A warm welcome will be extended to all members at the Conwy Suite, St. George’s Hotel on Friday, 6th March 2009.

The President, Mr. Len Bigley (Llanarth) has arranged for a private members bar and function room to be available from 8:30pm. Members and their families are invited to join him and members of the Council for a social evening.

Following the AGM will be the annual dinner and dance hosted by the Welsh Pony and Cob Society’s President. Members, their families and friends are cordially invited to join Reservations can be made through Gwyneira Edwards at the Society’s offices and will only be confirmed once full payment has been received. With AA Rosette Winning Cuisine, the dining experience at St Georges Hotel should not be missed.
