The Early Years The articles reproduced here give a fascinating insight into the way our Society started and the problems that those pioneers faced. The reader will soon discover what a debt we owe to those present at the birth of our wonderful Society. They will realise the commitment that our forebears made to the Ponies and Cobs that were so much a part of their lives. I hope that this volume will go some way to saluting those to whom we owe that debt and that the next hundred years will be as fruitful as our first century.
