Brightwells Auctioneers hold three Official WPCS Sales a year all, of which are held on the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells. |

The first one of the year will be held on SATURDAY 8 MAY. This Sale is for registered Welsh Ponies & Cobs Sections A, B, C, D, & WPBR and is called the SPRING SALE OF WELSH PONIES & COBS.
Entries will close for this Sale on Thursday 1 April. |
The second Official Sale of the year is the FAYRE OAKS SALE OF WELSH PONIES. This will be the 57th year the Sale has been held and it is open to Sections A, B, & WPBR. This year’s Sale is scheduled for SATURDAY & SUNDAY 25 & 26 SEPTEMBER.
Entries will close for this Sale on Monday 26 July.

The third and final Official Sale of the year is the biggest of the three. This is called the AUTUMN COB SALE, and as its name suggests it is open to Welsh Cobs Section D, Welsh Ponies of Cob Type Section C, and their Part Breds. This year the Sale will be held on FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY 15, 16, & 17 OCTOBER.
Entries will close for this Sale on Monday 9 August.

Important Note:

Please note that in order to enter animals in an official sale, the vendors must be members of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society.
- All animals going through the sale must be fully registered and passported with the Society prior to the date of the sale. If the application for registration has not been received by the Society by the date of entries closing (see above) we will not guarantee the return of the passports to vendors in time for the sale.
- All animals must be recorded in the name of the vendor.
- All geldings must have passports that have been updated to show this fact, rather than colt passports.
