MEMBERS SERVICES COMMITTEE
Purpose:
To ensure the Society provides customer
focused services in a timely manner
Responsible for:
-
Development and growth of the
membership base including Area Associations
-
Maintaining the integrity of the Welsh
Stud Book and Overseas Register
-
Providing support to the Editor of the
Journal as required
-
Developing the Pavilion for the benefit
of the members
-
Customer complaints
-
Agreeing and monitoring quality
standards
-
Submitting any requests for
extraordinary expenditure to the Finance Committee for
approval
Membership:
-
The Members Services Committee shall
consist of 3 members of Council elected by Council from
amongst their number at the first Council Meeting after an
AGM
-
Subject matter expert advisors may be
co-opted as required for advice on specific subjects for a
maximum period of one year subject to the approval of
Council, prior to being invited. However they may not
vote.

A quorum shall be 2, with voting
powers

The Members Services Committee will
meet a minimum of once a year.

Council may in addition ask the
Committee to meet to consider specific proposals
