MEMBERS SERVICES COMMITTEE

Purpose:      To ensure the Society provides customer focused services in a timely manner

Responsible for:

  • Development and growth of the membership base including Area Associations
  • Maintaining the integrity of the Welsh Stud Book and Overseas Register
  • Providing support to the Editor of the Journal as required
  • Developing the Pavilion for the benefit of the members
  • Customer complaints
  • Agreeing and monitoring quality standards
  • Submitting any requests for extraordinary expenditure to the Finance Committee for approval

Membership:

  • The Members Services Committee shall consist of 3 members of Council elected by Council from amongst their number at the first Council Meeting after an AGM
  • Subject matter expert advisors may be co-opted as required for advice on specific subjects for a maximum period of one year subject to the approval of Council, prior to being invited.   However they may not vote.
  • A quorum shall be 2,  with voting powers

Attendance at Meetings

  • As Membership above

Frequency of Meetings

  • The Members Services Committee will meet a minimum of once a year.
  • Council may in addition ask the Committee to meet to consider specific proposals
