Council

The Society’s Council is ultimately responsible for the effective running of the organisation and is comprised of 33 trustees who are elected by the membership.

In October 2006 members voted to reduce the number of elected members to 15 by March 2009. This means that in March 2007 the number will reduce to 27, in March 2008 to 21 and then finally to 15.
