As part of the move towards a more streamlined governance structure the Society will be changing its committee structure following the AGM on March 10^th 2007.

There will be 7 Standing Committees with specific terms of reference that report directly to Council. All standing committees have general regulations that they need to follow and those can be found by following this link.

New Standing Committees will be able to form (with Council approval) Working Parties for specific tasks or projects. Once the task for which it was appointed is completed a Working Party would be dissolved.

In addition to the new standing committee structure an Advisory Group will be formed to provide expert advice on Breed matters to the society. The details of this body are yet to be finalised. The aim is to conduct the first meeting in July 2007.
